Technology Clinic

The Lafayette Technology Clinic is a two-semester, hands-on course in which interdisciplinary teams of students attack real-world problems posed by business, government, and nonprofit clients. Enrollment in Tech Clinic, usually offered in several sections each year, is very competitive. Students rate Tech Clinic among their most interesting and valuable experiences at the College.

In recent years, several Tech Clinics have focused on issues of sustainability and the environment. Student teams have investigated reducing and managing surface water runoff in Easton’s West Ward, improving the West Ward’s urban ecology, sustainable economic redevelopment in the Slate Belt region, and increasing the sustainability of the Lafayette campus.
