DeSales University is hosting the 2009 Lehigh Valley Association of Independent Colleges Sustainable Campuses Conference on Friday, February 20th, 2009. The conference will include speaker workshops on a variety of topics, including organic farming, bio diesel, energy conservation, greening of dining services, plus a student poster competition featuring the posters of Lafayette students, and a “Green Vendor” Expo. The conference welcome and keynote address will be given by John Cusack, Executive Director, New Jersey Partnership for Sustainability in Higher Education. He will be speaking about “The Business Case for Sustainability in Higher Education.”
