Trey McIntyre Dance Company will perform, among other pieces,  Sun Road, commissioned as a tribute to Glacier National Park. The work “highlights our disconnect with our imperiled environment. Dancers begin the piece looking utterly out of place with their environment. They are on the top of a mountain landscape, dressed in formal wear and performing classical dance movements. An abrupt musical shift and changing dance movements, however, leads the dancers to engage with their environment instead of coexisting. As a result, they suddenly appear as if they belong there.
